Considering the signs of the times we are living in, now more than ever, called out ones from all over the world need to know that there is a real war taking place. This war is bigger than any other war and has been the longest ongoing war. It is not against one country verses another. Or even nation against nation but is a battle between Satan and each person.
In order to win this battle first we must realize that there is indeed a battle for the mind taking place in each person. One of the biggest lies Satan has managed to do is convince vast amounts of people that there is no battle or that the battle has already been won! Brothers and Sisters do not believe that lie. If there weren’t an ongoing battle then Scriptures would warn us about it.
Once we understand that there is indeed a battle taking place, we need to know how to fight it. Let us therefore, search the Scriptures to find out how we are to fight this battle.
“Because we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against authorities, against the world rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual wickedness in the heavens.
As the Scriptures states clearly there is a battle taking place right now. Even though we can’t see it, touch it, smell it or even hear it doesn’t mean it don’t exist. This battle is not in the physical realm therefore we cannot go by our senses but it is in the spiritual realm.
Are you prepared for this spiritual warfare, which is currently taking place? Do you have the complete amour of Yahuwah as explained in Ephesians 6:13-20? If not you need it!
“Because of this, take up the complete armour of Yahuwah, so that you have the power to withstand in the wicked day, and having done all, to stand. Stand, then, having girded your waist with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, having taken up the shield of belief with which you shall have power to quench all the burning arrows of the wicked one. Take also the helmet of deliverance, and the sword of the Ruach, which is the word of Yahuwah, praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Ruach, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the Qodesh Ones”
Let’s break this down, shall we:
What is having your waist girded with truth, you might ask? Well it’s speaking about true things about the coming of Yahushua, the true names of the Father and the Son, and about the true things about the Scriptures along with guarding His Commandments. And not bearing false witness but bearing true witness.
“in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your deliverance, in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Set-apart Spirit of promise, who is the pledge of our inheritance, until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His esteem.”-Ephesians 1:13-14
“And Yahuwah commanded us to do all these Laws, to revere (fear) Yahuwah Our Elohim, for our good always, to keep us alive, as it is today. And it is righteousness for us when we guard to do all this Command before Yahuwah our Elohim, as He has commanded us.”
His Laws shows us the way of righteousness. Let us review these laws also known as the Marriage Vows:
- You have no other mighty ones against my face.
- You do not make for yourself a carved image nor bow down to them.
- You do not bring the name of Yahuwah your Elohim to naught for Yahuwah does not leave the one unpunished who brings His name to naught.
- Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it Qodosh, for six days you work but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of Yahuwah your Elohim.
- Respect your father and mother so that your days are prolonged upon the soil which Yahuwah your Elohim is giving you.
- You do not murder.
- You do not commit adultery.
- You do not steal.
- You do not bear false witness against your neighbor.
- You do not covet whatever belongs to your neighbor.
Follow righteousness, so that you live and inherit the land which Yahuwah is giving you. (Deuteronomy 16:20)
Having our feet fitted with the preparation of the Besorah means we should be ready and willingly to spread the Good News about Yahushua everywhere at anytime. This means that we should be ‘on call’ at all times and willing to travel if the need arises:
“And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. “And whoever does not receive you nor hear your words, when you leave that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet.”-Mathew 10:13-14
When we take up the shield of belief, we have the belief that Yahushua Ha Mashiach will fight all of our spiritual war-fares for us and that we have faith and belief that He will take care of us, heal us, and come back again for us to take us to His house that He has prepared:
“Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in Elohim, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many staying places. And if not, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I shall come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you might be too.” -John 14 1-3
It will also block any spiritual forms of arrows that the devil tries to throw at us. No matter what the evil one throws at us we will be able to avoid them and they won’t pierce threw this powerful shield.
When we put on the helmet, we should never quit praying to Yahuwah our Elohim throughout the day. We should pray to Him just about everything we do and to pray that we have the wisdom, knowledge and the understanding to complete the day. We need to pray to also be like Him along with praying that we do not fall into temptation to do the fleshy things. May we also always pray to be delivered from our sins. We have also been told to:
“Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17)
Let us not forget how Daniel continued to pray even after the decree of death was signed:
“And Daniel, when he knew that the writing was signed, went home and in his upper room with his windows open toward Yerushalayim he knelt down on his knees three times a day, and prayed and gave thanks before his Elah, as he had done before. Then these men tumultuously gathered and found Daniel praying and entreating before his Elah. Then they approached the sovereign, and spoke concerning the sovereign’s interdict, “Have you not signed a interdict that every man who petitions any elah or man within thirty days, except you, O sovereign, is thrown into the den of lions?” The sovereign answered and said, “The word is certain, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not pass away.”
Therefore, let us always pray even if it means we might be killed for doing so! May we never forget to…
“Praying at all times, with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, watching in all perseverance and supplication for all the set-apart ones” -Ephesians 6:18
The last, but most important part of the armour is the sword of the Ruach. The sword of the Ruach is the word, tells us what is true and false, and leads us in the right direction of Yahuwah and Yahushua. This sword is sharper than any double edge sword because a physical sword can’t fight any spiritual wars or win them either.
“For the Word of Elohim is living, and working, and sharper than any two-edged sword, cutting through even to the dividing of being and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” -Hebrews 14:2
Now since you have read and hopefully have understood just how important the battle for our minds truly is, may each of us put on the complete amour of Yahuwah as we have been commanded to do! Truly, this amour is extremely important for each of our walks in faith. This amour is a must. One of the best parts is, this amour is free!
Once you have the complete amour of Yahuwah on, you can withstand anything and everything. Isn’t this wonderful news brothers and sisters? I mean who else literally gives away free battle gear? Yahuwah does! All we have to do is believe and do it! So, what are you waiting for, go get it!
